I graduated college! (ot)

I haven't been around because I've been super busy. I had lots of final, and then family arriving because I am ... graduating! Sort of. I have earned my Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Television Production and have one semester left before I earn my Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Leadership influence. But I'm ALMOST done so I walked for both degrees. A lot of my mom's family came so I got to see a lot of people. My boyfriend also had tons of family coming so we had a lot of juggling to do. It was insane!

Tuesday: Half of my family arrives, and they want to go sightseeing.
Wednesday: Business Finance final (which was HARD).
Thursday: Disneyland with my boyfriend's family and my family. We had fourteen people there in all! I got a little monkey toy for my Jess. It's a Languor monkey, not a spider monkey, but I still like it.
Friday: Graduation. We had ceremonies from 8 AM to 5:00 PM. Then we had to run to return our robes and get to dinner, which was the best part!

Today: My mom, brother, Paul, dad and I go shopping. I exchange my Jess doll (AGAIN) and my mom helps me find the PERFECT Jess. Her eyes and coloring are GORGEOUS. Her part is a _little_ bald in front, but I'm going to color it in with brown magic marker so the wig cap isn't noticable (my mom's idea). I also used graduation money to buy Jess' nightgown, the Cabana, and the Seaside Wardrobe. My dad, a pediatrician, LOVED AGPLA, he said it was great to see all the kids with goofy grins, "Like it's free candy day at the candy store" he said. They bought a bunch of American Girl self-help books (like the "Girl's Guide" books) for his office. My mom wants to get an AG doll for the office too, and wants advice on which dolls would appeal most to all sorts of little girls (my suggestion was Samantha or Nellie and Addy) and how to keep the dolls from getting too beat up (kids can be abusive).

THEN came the most exciting part of the day. After lunch at the Beverly Center, we stopped off at the pet store. There, my mom fell in love with two chihuahua puppies. The two puppies were so attached to each other, she got both (even though we don't normally buy from Petstores - our other dogs have _always_ been from home breeders or rescue agencies). My dad was so surprised, he has been looking for a yorkie for her for a year now, because her wonderful, adorable yorkie died a few years ago. But she said she wants a different kind of dog because if she had another yorkie she would always compare them. These two puppies are so sweet and wonderful! One has coloring like a chocolate doberman, and the other is a golden color.

Congradulations! That sounded like a very fun day. What a way to spend your money, eh? I'm glad your mom got some puppies. There's nothing more adorable than baby animals! Your Jess has a bald spot? For pete's sake AG, what's up with your quality?
